JobHarbor (“we”, “us”) is a placement-assistance service for delivery partners in India. This policy explains what we collect when you use jobharbor.in and how we use it.
What we collect
- Application details you type in: your name, mobile number, city, whether you have a vehicle, the company you prefer, your preferred call time and the language you used the site in.
- Technical details: the page you applied from, the referring site, campaign tags in the link you arrived by, your IP address and browser type. We use these to stop spam and to understand which pages help people.
- Optional location: if you tap “Jobs near me” and allow it, your browser shares coordinates once so we can show the nearest city. We do not store them.
- Preferences on your device: your chosen language and city are saved in your browser only, so the site remembers them next time.
How we use it
- To call you back about delivery jobs you asked about, and to help you complete onboarding with the company you choose.
- To share your name, number and city with the hiring company or its onboarding partner only for the role you applied to.
- To keep internal notes on the status of your application (for example “contacted” or “joined”).
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated advertising.
Who can see it
Our team, the hiring company for the role you chose, and the service providers who host our website and database. Everyone with access is bound by confidentiality.
How long we keep it
Application records are kept for up to 24 months so we can help you again if you re-apply, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your record sooner at any time.
Your choices
- Ask us to stop calling, correct your details or delete your record: email info@jobharbor.in from any address, with your mobile number.
- Clear your browser storage to reset your saved language and city.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS and stored in an access-controlled database. No method is perfect, but we take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect it.
Children
Our service is for people aged 18 and above. We delete applications we discover are from minors.
