Who can do a part-time delivery job
Anyone aged 18 or above with Aadhaar, PAN and a bank account in their own name. A two-wheeler with a valid driving licence is needed for rider roles; in-store packer roles at dark stores need no vehicle at all. There is no education requirement — 8th pass, 10th pass, graduates and postgraduates all work alongside each other.

How many hours count as part-time?
There is no fixed number. Most part-timers work 3–4 hours a day, five or six days a week. Quick-commerce demand peaks in the evening (6–10 pm) and on weekends, so even a short evening login lands a steady stream of orders. You are paid per order, so the only thing that matters is orders completed, not hours logged.
What does an evening actually pay?
Full-time riders in metros earn ₹35,000–₹50,000 a month; part-time riders doing evenings only usually make ₹10,000–15,000 a month in big cities and ₹7,000–11,000 in smaller towns. Per order you get a base fare plus distance pay, with weekly incentives when you cross an order target. Payment lands in your bank every week.
Can I combine it with college or another job?
Yes — this is the most common pattern we see. Students take the 6–10 pm slot; salaried people take weekends or 7–10 pm. Because there is no roster, you can skip a day without asking anyone. The one thing to plan is the peak: if you only ever log in at 3 pm you will wait for orders; if you log in at 7 pm you will not.
What stops people — and the fix
Three things: no bike, documents not ready, and not knowing which company to pick. No bike: choose a store packer role, or rent an electric scooter per day in metros. Documents: only Aadhaar, PAN and a bank passbook are needed to start; RC and DL if you ride. Some dark stores accept cycle and e-cycle riders for very short orders, but most rider roles need a scooter or bike. Packer roles inside the store need no vehicle.
Will it affect my studies or my main job?
Only if you let it. Set a fixed slot (for example 7–10 pm) and treat it like a class. Your main employer is not informed — you work as an independent partner.
