"I don't have a bike" is the number one reason people tell us they cannot start. It is not true — here are the four routes, from zero-vehicle roles to renting by the day.
1. Work inside the store
Dark stores need packers on every shift. You pick items, pack the order and hand it to the rider. Fixed hours, fixed pay (typically ₹14,000–22,000 a month by city), weekly off, and no vehicle or licence. This is the fastest start if you have no two-wheeler.
2. Rent an electric scooter
In metros, rental fleets rent e-scooters to delivery partners on daily or weekly plans — roughly ₹100–200 a day, Aadhaar KYC, no EMI, charging swapped at hubs. Because you pay no petrol, the net cost is close to running your own bike. Our team can point you to the rental partner operating in your zone.
3. Borrow a family or friend's vehicle
Completely allowed. The platform checks that the vehicle has a valid RC and insurance and that you hold a driving licence. The RC does not need to be in your name.
4. Cycle or e-cycle zones
Some compact urban zones accept cycle and e-cycle riders for orders under 2 km. It is not available everywhere — ask on the call and we will check your store.
Which route is right for you
If you want to start this week with no money down: store role. If you can invest ₹100–200 a day and want rider earnings: rental scooter. If you have a licence and a relative with a scooter: borrow it for the first month and buy or rent once the weekly payouts start.
